THE TULSA HERB SOCIETY
“CAROLS AND CRUMPETS”
Carols and Crumpets
Study Group - The Study Group will not be meeting for the next two weeks, November 26 and December 3. We'll be preparing for Carols and Crumpets December 3. The Study Group notes from past meetings can be read at - Study Group Notes.
Crafting - Patsy Wynn will be leading the crafters in making the Crocus Crackers. We will be adding the finishing flourishes. We will also have things to price. Mari Migliore will be doing a TV spot for us on Thursday so if you led a project and still hat it at home please bring one of the items on Tuesday so she can take it with her. Mari will be taking the Raffle Tree to display. We can also store the finished projects in the attic until Thursday if you are ready to let them go. For those of you who took home the hypertufas to add plants to please return those on Thursday. Thanks to all of you who have led or helped make our wonderful crafts this year. Eve
Sittler and her group of magic fairies will be putting together
the center pieces for the Snowflake Cafe tables. Ann will
be collecting some greenery, but she has a BOO BOO and can't do
all she usually does. So she asked members to please bring
greenery, yaupon, cedar, nandina etc. Home Depot and
Lowe's have greenery they have trimmed from the Christmas trees
they are selling. The trimmings are free.
CAROLS & CRUMPETS: Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help with Carols & Crumpets. We are still in need of a few people to make a bar cookie for the Snowflake Cafe. These will be given away so they can be baked at home. Linda Moore, Chair, will furnish us with a recipe. Call or send an e-mail to Eve Joseph, if you can help. Also, if you haven't signed up to help with any of the committees, please consider volunteering. We always have openings during the event. The money raised at Carols & Crumpets helps pay for all the Tulsa Herb Society activities throughout the year.
Anne Hathaway Garden
Weather permitting, above 40 degrees and wind less than 20 mph, about daybreak, in the Anne Hathaway Herb Garden, one of us will be raking the paths. I'll bring the tools and the tea. Cheers! JoAnn

The Tulsa Herb Society was formed in 1988 by a group of herbal enthusiasts. The purpose of our organization is to foster the appreciation, study, culture, history, and use of herbs. In addition, society members share their time and experience in each others gardens. Friendships grow that become priceless.
